1" OD x .049" Wall Round aluminum tube is a 1" Diameter aluminum pole. This 1 in diameter aluminum round tube is smooth and can be perfect for a wide variety of applications including some bending applications. While not quite .060" wall it's thicker than .045" wall
Our 1 OD x .047 Wall Round aluminum tube is a 1 Diameter aluminum pole with a somewhat heavy wall similar to 1 OD x .049. This is an extruded 1 OD tube with an .047 wall. This 1 in diameter aluminum round tube is smooth and can be perfect for a wide variety of applications. This is heavier than our 0.038 wall tubing, providing more strength and reinforcement for bending and other applications. While more metal means a higher cost per foot, the nearly .050 wall can enable applications not possible with our .038 wall tubing. While not quite an .060 wall 1 OD tube, it's thicker than an .045 wall. This tube is not recommended for telescoping applications. Note tolerance is +/- 0.007 on the wall thickness.
