Stick Flex ProfileThe Nexus Performance stick line follows the main focus of the Nexus line with a mid kick flex profile and EZ-Flex technology, making it easier and more efficient for younger players to flex their stick and load power into their shots. Mid kick is perfect for players who are just figuring out the type of hockey stick that works for them. Shaft Construction & StiffnessBauer’s new Junior series of sticks are equipped with EZ-Flex for an easier load and release, with a strategically placed mid kick point. The shaft and blade are made of 15K carbon fibre in particular, which is used at higher price points as well due to its overall strength, light weight, and performance. Blade ConstructionThe blade is also made of 15K carbon for a truly balanced feel, and it is additionally equipped with Cellcore blade technology. Cellcore is a traditional and rigid blade core known for its ease of use. GraphicsDepending on the flex of the stick, the Junior series comes in three different colours: blue for flex 40, green for flex 30, and yellow for flex 20. Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick LengthThe Bauer Nexus Performance Junior Hockey Stick at Flex 40 comes in the following blade patterns: P28 and P92. P92 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. It is the standard “beginner blade” and doesn’t specialize in a lot. P28 is a more aggressive stick pattern, often used by elite players and favoured by younger generations. Young players will find it much easier to raise the puck on the forehand with this pattern.
