Taylor's Bells produce single bells, peals of bells, chimes and carillons, as well as sets of musical handbells for customers worldwide. In 1881 Taylor's cast Great Paul, the largest British cast bell in Britain, for St Paul's Cathedral in London, weighing 17,002 kg. Taylor's Foundry pioneered the five tone principle of bell tuning in 1896, working on five principal harmonics known as the: hum, fundamental, tierce, quint and nominal, and their bells are tuned by hand.
