Located just in front of our sister restaurant smallSUGAR in the historic City Market development, CITY GRIT is the culmination of years of travel and eating by Chefs Sarah Simmons and Aaron Hoskins and their desire to bring those experiences and flavors to Columbia. Focusing on the food of the wine and tapas bars of Spain and France ( with just a touch of Italy), CITY GRIT has an ever-changing menu of snacks, chese, charcuterie, shareables, pastas, and entrees using local produce and artisan products. Many of which are available for sale in the store side of CITY GRIT. Service and environment are casual, but the food is anything but. Many of our wines are also available for retail sale, as well.
