Coalport Maple Time Demi Cup And Saucer Blue And White Bone China 1949 – Antiques And Teacups
This is an elegant Coalport demitasse cup and saucer made by Coalport, England between 1945-1960 in a lovely blue and white transfer pattern called either Maple or Maple time number 9471. The cup is 2.15 inches high to the cup rim by 2.25 inches in diameter and the saucer is 4.5 inches in diameter and is in the demitasse or after dinner coffee size. The pattern is cobalt blue maple leaves and a chintz small leaf vines trellis chintz on white bone china with gold trim. The mark dates the teacup and saucer to 1949-1960, as the mark was only used then and replaced with another mark in 1960. The cup and saucer is in near mint condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. A beautiful demi cup and saucer, and a favorite pattern of mine.
