Juniper Berry oil is a sweet, fruity, green, fresh, woody-balsamic odor. Juniper trees are found abundant in the Eastern part of Oregon.
Benefits:
Juniper essential oil is purifying, clearing, nerve tonic, reviving, and restorative. It also has antiseptic, astringent, carminative, parasiticide and sedative properties.
Directions for Use:
Our essential oils are unadulterated which means they are 100% pure. Never use pure essential oils directly on skin without diluting it first.
Diffusion:
Use three to four drops in the diffuse of your choice (always follow the instructions of your particular diffuser)
Use in combination with other oils to purify the air.
Topical use:
Add 4 or 5 drops to 1 oz. of a base oil (such as sweet almond oil, canola or olive oil) for a skin rub or massage to help relieve congestion.
Add 8—10 drops to a tub of warm water for a relaxing soak and help with joint pain. Use on it’s own or mix with other essential oils. Never use pure essential oils directly on skin without diluting it first.
Add 2-3 drops to a few tablespoons of carrier oil and rub in sore achy joints after a warm bath and before bedtime.
Mixes well with:
Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Lavender, Rosemary, Geranium and Citrus oils.
CAUTIONS:
This oil stimulates the uterine muscle and must not be used during pregnancy. It should not be used by those with kidney disease, as it is nephrotoxic. It is not suitable for young children. Use in moderation. Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. AVOID DURING PREGNANCY.
