The Liliput fountain pen is the tiny gem in the Kaweco family.  Made by hand, each of the metals used to create this pen are sustainable. Made entirely from the well-known Eco brass, stainless and copper in Germany, each material must go through very short transport routes to ensure certification.  All the soldering/welding is lead-free and, since they are untreated, each pen will develop an individual patina over time.

Measuring only 9.7 cm when closed, just 8.7 cm when opened and 12.5 cm when the cap is attached to the barrel,  also making the Liliput is one of the smallest fountain pens in the world.

Exquisite metals grant versatility: from light aluminum for on the go, to copper and brass, which develop a unique patina over time, this fountain pen leaves nothing to be desired.

The crown jewel in the line is the Fireblue variant.  Each pen is blued by hand creating one-of-a-kind masters. This finish is created by torching at different temperatures.  Cooling and heating the stainless steel surface at the respective points of the pen, creates a unique varied colour scheme of shimmering bluish and brownish shades. Through its use, this colour scheme will change over time.  And as a prized possession within our team, we can attest that the patina changes continually, year over year.

Five different nib sizes are available from extra fine to extra broad. While the extra fine nib (EF) is suitable for small and fine hand writing, the extra broad (BB) nib is often used for large, dramatic signatures. For beginners, we recommend the nib size medium (M). All nibs are produced in Germany.

*note: this raw material will change its patina during usage!
**we do not typically stock the Liliput but will accept custom orders, anytime.
