The female body and the female cycle are connected to the moon and the earth. In ancient times, rites were performed and women from a young age connected in a different way with their bodies, seeing the process as something very natural and not dirty.Just as the moon takes about 28 days to make a full circle around the earth, a woman's menstrual cycle is about 28 days. In this way, our cycles are connected like the four phases of the moon: new moon, crescent, full moon and waning quarter. For each phase of the moon and of our cycle there is a different energy available, which you can see in my design. This illustration is part of a larger project and I thought of it to help you visualize what phase you are in and how to harness that energy for your body and mind.How do you live your cycles, are you aware of the energy that is available for each one?
