With countless shades of grey set into a black main body of merino wool, this knit was and is extremely technical to produce. Only after we obtained an original vintage piece as worn in this scene, we were really able to understand the complexity of the knitted stripe and the exact shades of greys used in order to achieve its true beauty. Just outside the airport in a diner carpark, Henry Hill sits nonchalantly on the boot of the car outside a diner with his accomplice Tommy as they prep for a truck heist. It’s a scene that caught our eye immediately and one that deeply focusses on Henry's outfit - we can’t fault. The camera pans up from his basketweave loafers over THE sharpest pressed trouser crease we’ve ever seen and ends on the knit shirt collar proudly sitting over a graphite grey sharkskin suit. Ordering  We currently hold a limited amount of stock for both of our Goodfellas knit shirts. When purchasing either the Salerno or Idlewild knit on their own,  we will have your knit sent out to you within 1 week of your order date. If you purchase these knits alongside any of our made-to-order items, production timelines will apply and will be sent once the whole order is completed. Click here for current production timelines.  Sizing  Both our Goodfellas knits are a classic fit, with ease in the shoulder and body width which allows for them to be worn over a vest or t-shirt. See our size chart for more information. Leo is pictured wearing a size MEDIUM  and is 5ft 10 and has a 39″ chest. He could opt for a SMALL if he wanted a slightly less roomy fit. Styling No need to tuck the shirt if you don't want to, with a straight hem and waistband, the length of the Goodfellas knits are ideal when worn relaxed over shorts or trousers. Pair with our higher waisted trousers or shorts, or if you are looking for something to style under your knit, wear with our perforated vest for the full look.  Care instructions  Dry clean strongly advised - once wool is washed in water it never hangs quite hangs the same. 100% Merino wool.
