TAFEL EXTRAPOLATION METHOD
Tafel extrapolation is a mathematical technique used to estimate the corrosion current (Icorr) or the corrosion potential (Ecorr) in an electrochemical cell and thereby, the corrosion rate. So ,the corrosion rate of a metal can be measured using an electrochemical cell.
